First Official Look At Dave Bautista As ‘Mr Hinx’ & Lea Seydoux As ‘Dr. Swann’ For SPECTRE

“When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions,” says Bautista in Empire’s in-depth feature on the film. “I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, ‘Yes, he’s a badass.’ I said, ‘Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?’ He said, ‘Very.’ That’s what I like about Mr. Hinx. He’s very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I’m not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is.” Just as Hinx doesn’t sound like your average Bond henchman, it seems the mysterious Dr. Madeline Swann won’t be just another “Bond Girl”. “I don’t consider myself a Bond girl,” says Lea Seydoux. “I think I’m not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can’t be like, ‘Oh, James.’ You have to find something else. She’s not a fighter, she’s a doctor,” she adds. “She fights in another way.” Be sure to pick up the current issue of Empire for more.

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Starring Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Andrew Scott, and Rory Kinnear, Spectre is set to be released later this year.

Sam Mendes returns to direct Spectre, which stars Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Andrew Scott and Rory Kinnear. Written by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, the movie hits theaters on November 6, 2015.

Greg Berlanti Confirms ARROW/THE FLASH Spinoff

In addition to Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Riverdale in 2015, producer Greg Berlanti has confirmed reports that a new superhero team-up series is headed to the small screen under his watch.

Reports emerged last night that Firestorm, The Atom and other Arrowverse characters would team-up onscreen for an as-yet-untitled spinoff series that Berlanti has hashtagged Superhero Team-Up:

That’s likely not the final name; Marvel and DC co-own the trademark on the phrase “superhero,” but it still sounds like a generic enough name that it would be difficult to imagine it standing out on a schedule.

The series will reportedly star Brandon Routh, Victor Garber and Caity Lotz, who played Sara Lance/Canary on Arrow. It will also reportedly feature three superheroes who have never been on TV before.

Josh Hutcherson Talks Possible SPIDER-MAN Role

Now just three weeks later after the news broke out of good ole Spider-Man swinging into the MCU, many have wondered who would play the web-slinger. In many conversations there was two candiates Dylan O’Brien and Logan Lerman. But now Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson has chimed in. “Yeah, of course I’d think about doing it,” Hucherson told Yahoo! last week. “It’s Spider-Man, that’d be really cool. There’s not been any conversations about that, but who knows what would happen.” While previously in contention, the 22-year-old had admitted that even though he wasn’t much of a comic book reader, he did grow up watching Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies. And beyond expressing interest in countless other interviews, Hutcherson went all out for his Amazing Spider-Man audition tape, which was released online and can be seen below. Therefore, it’s no huge surprise that he’s still open to the big commitment. However, there are only two actors who have been mentioned for the role, which will likely debut in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War (May 6, 2016) before the standalone movie (July 28, 2017): Logan Lerman and Dylan O’Brien, both of whom had also expressed interest in Spidey years ago.

Margot Robbie Talks SUICIDE SQUAD Casting, And More!

Talking to MTV News recently, Margot Robbie was asked how she ended up landing the role of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. As it turns out, she didn’t have to audition, and it makes you wonder whether Warner Bros. took note of the massive fan support that the actress has had for this role ever since The Wolf of Wall Street was released. “I actually got offered this one, I didn’t audition, which is a real step up as an actor when you can get offered things,” she said before revealing that her and Will Smith “didn’t have to do chemistry reads or anything like that, and then I already knew, vaguely knew Jared Leto, who’s playing the Joker.” While Robbie wasn’t willing to give away any plot details, she did have this to say about the kind of tone that David Ayer is aiming for: “I think on a scale of like, ‘Dark Knight’ is here and ‘Avengers’ is here, I think it’s more on the ‘Dark Knight’ side of things.”

John Ottman To Return As X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Composer

X-Men: Apocalypse next year will be composed by John Ottman, composer of  X-Men 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, as it has been confirmed by Film Music Reporter that he has officially signed up to return for the movie. Some fans preferred Henry Jackman’s take on the mutant characters in X-Men: First Class, but Ottman’s work in last year’s “inbetweenquel” was still great.

For those of you needing a reminder, this one will star Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, and franchise newcomers Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Ben Hardy. Bryan Singer will direct and Simon Kinberg is writing. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.

Miles Teller Talks Mr. Fantatsic’s Powers In FANTASTIC FOUR

Empire Magazine caught up with Miles Teller to talk about what to expect from his take on Reed Richards, and it definitely sounds like he’ll be as smart as his comic book counterpart! “It was good talking with our advisors on set, whether it’s the quantum physics stuff or biomechanics,” he says. “I always want to know enough about the stuff before I say it. But I’m on layman’s terms with the science. I’m a layman’s Reed Richards!” Don’t take that too literally folks! As for how fans should expect to see Mister Fantastic’s powers portrayed in this version, it does sound like it will be a little less cartoonish than the previous movies and the comics. “If he’s this gummy guy slinging around, it looks ridiculous,” the actor claimed before adding: “What does that feel like for a young guy, to have no control over his body?”

Viola Davis Talks SUICIDE SQUAD

Now that there is confirmation Viola Davis will be portraying Amanda Waller in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad adaptation and beyond, the two-time Oscar-nominated actress was recently asked what appealed to her about the project. “As a comic book and Wonder Woman fan, I love the whole DC Comics universe,” she told The Hollywood Reporter yesterday. “I traded comics as a kid so all of that appeals to me. When you dream about being an actor as a kid, that’s what you dream about. It’s like play acting: being the superhero, getting the gun; it plays into that fantasy. How to Get Away with Murder changed my exposure. I don’t know if it changed the quality of roles as much as it the exposure. I mean certainly Amanda Waller is a fabulous character.”

Directed David Ayer from his screenplay, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), with Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), and Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor). The film opens August 5, 2016.
