A Bunch Of New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Set Videos And Photos

Over the past several days, there has been a collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 set videos and photos being released. Come check them out if you don’t mind some mild spoilers.

The first video has Arrow star Stephen Amell dressed as ‘Casey Jones’ saving Megan Fox’s ‘April O’Neil’ from a member of Shredder’s Foot Clan. She ran into an alleyway and Casey leaps into the scene, knocking the ninja out cold. Then April’s buddies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, come face-to-face with her hockey stick wielding hero.

In the second video, Amell has his scuffed up goalie mask resting on his head as he watches, alongside Fox, the motion-captured suited Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles goofing off. Either they’re horsing around during some downtime or rehearsing a scene.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is currently filming in New York State, and one of the first video from the set has made its way to the media. Judging by the video below, the Michael Bay flare that made the first film so (in)famous is still alive and well in the forthcoming sequel.

Thanks to Movie Hotties, we have a new look at Megan Fox on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. They don’t reveal an awful lot about the sequel, but we do at least get to see the movie’s logo and April O’Neil hanging out with a couple of the titular heroes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is directed by Dave Green (Earth to Echo) with a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol). Fox and Amell will be joined by Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, Brian Tee as Shredder, and model Alessandra Ambrosio as herself. Laura Linney also has an undisclosed role.

Critics didn’t love it and the response from longtime fans was more than a little mixed, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a box office hit last year. It didn’t take long for a sequel to be officially announced, and that’s set to be released on June 3rd, 2016, with the original cast returning alongside new additions Stephen Amell (as Casey Jones) and Tyler Perry (as Baxter Stockman).

So, what’s the verdict? Stephen Amell has already been spotted on set with the hockey stick, but this first official image (not including those vehicle photos) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 reveals that the Arrow star will have the mask that the character is so well known for.

Megan Fox (Jonah Hex) was spotted filming a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scene in which she was chased through the streets of New York City.

Fox, who plays intrepid Channel 6 News reporter April O’Neil, ran through oncoming traffic as the Shredder’s clan of ninjas, known as the Foot Clan, leaped over cars as they hunted her down. Why? It probably had to do with the canister Fox can been seen holding onto.

Fox was also seen in the Grand Central Station while filming showing off her disguise(?) as a Britney Spears look alike! Hopefully this explained better in the film more than these set pics thanks to SuperHeroHype.

More set photos, thanks to Just Jared, show Megan Fox running in boots while filming scenes for her upcoming film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 in New York City. The 28-year-old actress was joined on set by co-star Stephen Amell, who plays her love interest in the film. Later in the day, Megan looked unrecognizable while sporting a blonde wig for a scene.

Brian Tee Is TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Shredder

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2″ has cast Brian Tee (“The Wolverine”) as iconic villain Shredder.

He’ll join Megan Fox (April O’Neil), Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick), Stephen Amell (Casey Jones) and Tyler Perry (Baxter Stockman) in the Paramount sequel. Michael Bay will once again produce with his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. David Green is set to direct from a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec.

The 2014 reboot of the beloved franchise brought in more than $485 million worldwide on a budget of $125 million. Tohoru Masamune played the villain in the 2014 movie.

Tee recently finished filming NBC drama pilot “Love Is a 4 Letter Word” from director George Tillman Jr. and writer-producer Diana Son. He’ll next be seen in Universal’s “Jurassic World,” playing the role of Takashi Hamada. No stranger to popular franchises, Tee’s credits also include “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” and “Mortal Kombat: Legacy.”

New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Vehicle Images

Franchise producer Michael Bay as today revealed the first official images from the sequel, and along with a new look at the “Tartaruga Brothers” truck we first saw at the end of the last movie, a new vehicle – the Polaris Slingshot – has been unveiled. I’m far from a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expert, but is this the kind of car that the new Casey Jones could get behind the wheel of?

It’s not exactly hard to imagine Arrow star Stephen Amell in it anyway, and regardless of whether it belongs to a hero or villain, it’s hardly surprising to see a car like this in a movie which Transformers helmer Michael Bay is involved in!

Teenage Mutant Turtles 2 (working title “Half-Shell”) stars Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman  is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.

Tyler Perry To Play Scientist Baxter Stockman In TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2

Tyler Perry is set to join the cast of Paramount and Michael Bay’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2,” in which he’ll play scientist Baxter Stockman.

Megan Fox and Will Arnett are on board to reprise their roles in the sequel, while “Arrow” star Stephen Amell was recently cast as Casey Jones. David Green is directing.

Plot details and other returning cast members have yet to be confirmed.

In previous iterations of the franchise, Stockman was responsible for the creation of the Mousers, machines meant to seek out and destroy sewer rats. The villainous Shredder learns of this invention and hires Stockman as his own scientist with the intent of using the Mousers to destroy Splinter, mentor to the Turtles.

Michael Bay is producing along with his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec are penning the script. Production is set to start next month.

The “Turtles” franchise is one of Paramount’s top properties following the success of last summer’s latest outing, which earned $191 million domestically.

Best known for his “Tyler Perry Presents” films for which the multihyphenate acts as writer, producer, director and sometimes star, Perry has recently branched out to dramatic roles in other projects, and was last seen playing Ben Affleck’s lawyer in Fox’s “Gone Girl.”

Paramount Pictures Want A TRANSFORMERS CINEMATIC UNIVERSE

Paramount Pictures wants more Transformers. Taking a page from Fox’s incubation of three Avatar sequels and what Disney is doing to revive Star Wars with a sequels and spinoffs, the studio is negotiating with Akiva Goldsman to work with franchise director Michael Bay, exec producer Steven Spielberg and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura to organize a “writer’s room” that will incubate ideas for a potential multi-part Transformers sequel, and come up with potential spinoff films based on the billion-dollar franchise culled from the Hasbro toy line.

After Transformers: Dark of the Moon, director Michael Bay famously planned to hand the franchise off to a new filmmaker who could semi-reboot the series. He subsequently changed his mind and came back to helm Age of Extinction himself, resulting in pretty much the same movie we’ve been watching for four films in a row now, only with more Mark Wahlberg and less Shia LaBeouf. Bay previously said he’d be handing Transformers 5 off to another filmmaker, and he subsequently opted to move forward with the Benghazi drama 13 Hours as his next film, but given his history you never really know.

It’s hardly surprising that Paramount would want to do this – for all their fluctuating quality levels, the Transformers franchise has been a robust box office performer for the studio, with even last year’s Age Of Extinction earning almost $1.1 billion around the world and breaking records in the lucrative Chinese market.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Sequel Will Film In Buffalo This May

The some-what surprise hit of 2014, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is to film most its sequel in May in Buffalo. This is a not surprise as last month one of the producers revealed that they were headed back to New York City and will begin filming in April, but this is the official announcement.

“We are very pleased that they’ve chosen our community for this very popular franchise,” said Mayor Byron Brown, D-Buffalo.

According to the Empire State Development Corporation, Paramount will shoot a majority of the film in NYC, but is expected to spend a few weeks in Buffalo this May.
As for where exactly the production will be, Brown said he doesn’t know yet, but Paramount executives have been scouting the area looking for places to shoot.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” will be directed by David Green. Michael Bay is producing alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick also producing. Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec are writing and will executive produce with Denis Stewart.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will arrive in theaters June 3, 2016.
