Take Another Look At BATMAN V SUPERMAN’S Batmobile!

The Licensing Expo is getting underway today in Las Vegas, and just before the doors opened they allowed some members of the press inside to snap some photos of the promotion materials on the floor. One such item just happens to be the new Batmobile, and Collider was able to grab a number of high-resolution images of the intimidating car and also grab a fact sheet with more information on the vehicle.

This is our best look at the Batmobile yet, and as you can see it’s fully equipped for Snyder’s uneasy and treacherous world that his versions of the DC superheroes inhabit.

Take a look at the official description and specs of the vehicle below, followed by images. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the highly-anticipated action adventure starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman.

Single-handedly designed and fabricated in near complete seclusion by The Batman, this infamous pursuit and capture vehicle has earned its reputation as the apex predator on the mean streets of Gotham City. Over powered with an unmatched hybrid of prototype military and civilian performance technologies, this top machine has been estimated to reach speeds of up to 205 MPH. The Batmobile’s imposing defense capabilities, supported by stolen Wayne Industries technologies, have been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems. Facts:– Twin .50 caliber retractable machine gun turret– Fully armored– Stealth-capable– Active Protection Systems/Anti-ballistics– 20 ft. long/12 ft. wide– 7000 lbs.

Joss Whedon Interested In Helming DC Comics Adaptation

http://widgets.ign.com/video/embed/content.html?url=http://www.ign.com/videos/2015/04/26/joss-whedon-still-interested-in-directing-a-dc-movie-ign-news
Joss Whedon has made it clear both before and during promotion for Avengers: Age of Ultron that the sequel will be his last Marvel movie for the forseeable future. He’s not bluffing either, as Joe and Anthony Russo were recently confirmed as helming the two-part Avengers: Infinity War. However, while Whedon has been talking a lot about creating something original, the filmmaker tells IGN that he’s more than ready to take a crack at a DC Comics adaptaion. “Sure. I’d be like ‘I have all these joke ideas.’ And they’d be like ‘No, we don’t do that here,'” he teased, before adding: “I desperately wanted to do a Batman film – who doesn’t? And I wanted to do Wonder Woman. I was a Marvel kid growing up, but I was always DC-curious. And I see myself on the spectrum in between.” A new Batman movie is exected at some point in the next few years, and Warner Bros. would be wise to consider Whedon for the job, even if he does want to inject some humour into the Caped Crusader’s world. After all, would that really be such a bad thing?

As for Wonder Woman – a movie which the director was developing back in 2005 – it doesn’t sound like he has any interest in taking over from Michelle MacLaren, but feigned grief at the prospect of someone other than him taking the helm. “I don’t care who she’s seeing now. We don’t talk much. And I wish her well! I worked really hard on that movie and it meant a lot, but I don’t know if what I was trying to do would fit in with what their vision is. I’m excited to see it so I just want them to make it so I can see it!”

Henry Cavill Talks BATMAN V SUPERMAN, Close Up of The Batmobile, Wonder Woman, And Batsuit

In a recent interview, Henry Cavill has clarified that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is NOT a Man of Steel sequel. Seems plain as day, but many people have been clinging to the belief Batman v Superman is a sequel to Man of Steel.

MTV’s Josh Horowitz referred to it as a Superman sequel and Cavill quickly corrected him. “I wouldn’t call this a Superman sequel,” Cavill told Horowitz at CinemaCon 2015. “This is Batman v Superman, so it is a separate entity all together. It’s introducing the Batman (Ben Affleck) character and expanding upon the universe. Which was kicked off by Man of Steel.

Cavill thinks the film could experience some changes when it is edited in post but as of right now it is “definitely an introduction of the character (Batman), and ultimately the introduction of Justice League.”

Listen to Henry’s comments in the video below.

Collider shared a bit of their interview with Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer. While the two were in town to promote their upcoming Guy Ritchie film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., as a huge fan of Man of Steel I had to also talk to Cavill about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While I knew he’d be guarded, I needed to try.As you’ll see in the video below, Collider started by trying to get Cavill to confirm he’d be at Comic-Con and then they attempted to ask about the experience of making Batman v Superman and how it differed from Man of Steel. However, that went nowhere. But after they asked that question, Collider handed the interview over to Armie Hammer who then proceeded to ask Cavill his own Batman v Superman questions.

First Image of Jared Leto Sporting The Joker’s Signature Green Hair For SUICIDE SQUAD

David Ayer has taken to twitter once more, this time addressing fan concerns with the hashtag #WhereIsJared. While we heard Leto was on tour, it looks like they might have left him out of the cast shot due to a recent hair change. Ayers tweet teases a first look at Leto with The Joker’s signature green style, and it’s a pretty sweet reference to one of The Joker’s standout appearances in Alan Moore’s The Killing Joke. It’s a blurry look, but it’s a look all the same. No doubt the picture is filtered to hell and back, but they seem to be going with a bit more of a blue-green color, which looks pretty darn creepy with Leto rocking the no eyebrows style.

Jesse Eisenberg is also still expected to reprise his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice role as Lex Luthor, and Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins a cast which includes Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, and a number of others. It’s set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
