FMR reports that Christophe Beck will provide the score for Marvel’s Ant-Man, which just debuted its teaser trailer last night. Beck is most well known for composing the music for Disney’s hit film Frozen though he also provided the score for all three “Hangover” movies, The Muppets, and the comic book-based Elektra, RED, and R.I.P.D. It should be noted, however, that Beck previously worked with Marvel maestro Joss Whedon on both “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and its spin-off “Angel,” for a combined 80 episodes.
The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
