Evan Peters Talks His Possible Return For X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

While the ever-growing cast of X-Men: Apocalypse has been filling out lately with several new faces, albeit familiar mutants, actor Evan Peters will be reprising his X-Men: Days of Future Past character as Peter Maximoff a.k.a. Quicksilver and supposedly in a much larger role.

Although his return was revealed early on after being introduced and met with praise last year, the American Horror Story actor remained a bit tight-lipped when I Am Rogue recently asked if his speedster mutant will truly be appearing in the 2016 X-Men installment. “I think so, yes,” replied Peters. “I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say.” When asked if his scheduled has been worked for when filming kicks off, Evan Peters would only say, “No; we’ll see. I think…I don’t know what I can say and what I can’t say. All I can say is that I have not seen a script yet.”

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), with Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie opens on May 27, 2016.
