First Look At DEATHLOK 2.0 Plus AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Episode 17 Promo; "Melinda"

Mike Peterson made his surprise return in this week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and as you can see, his costume has been improved a great deal since season one. Talking to IGN, J. August Richards had this to say about the circumstances surrounding the return of Deathlok. “Coulson has had Deathlok in his back pocket since we saw him last,” he reveals. “So he pulls me out of hiding to help him out with this really huge mission that is vital to S.H.I.E.L.D. As you can see, I got a lot of upgrades while I’ve been gone. My costume is very different. There are things that are still the same. The character has been evolving since we’ve seen him last. This is like Deathlok 2.0.” As for when and if we’ll get to see a version of Deathlok much closer to the comic book version, he added: “It’s such work in progress and I can see a scenario where that happens. I was really excited in one episode where Mike was under a x-ray and we got to see that underneath it all he does look a bit like the comic character. We’ll see, it’s constantly evolving, as you can already see.”

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Edward James Olmos Arrives On Set; Title Of Next Episode Revealed

Spoiler TV have discovered that when Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its midseason première on March 3rd, the title of its first ep. (season 2, episode 11) back will be “Aftershocks”. This obviously has to do with the team dealing with the fallout of last year’s eventful midseason finale, but it’s also a reference to the new powers displayed by “Skye” Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) after she emerged from her “Inhuman” cocoon as Quake. We also found out that Battlestar Galactica’s Edward James Olmos had joined the cast of season 2 in a mysterious role, and here is a recent set snap of the actor taken by Ming-Na Wen.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D | Alien Species Revealed |

Spoiler warning for a future Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD reveal, though this information is being offered up by one of the show’s executive producers, Jeffrey Bell.
Not that many of us didn’t already suspect this particular Agents of SHIELD swerve, especially after Guardians of the Galaxy heavily featured this particular Marvel Comics race, but it’s now been revealed that the blue alien on the ABC TV series — whose blood helped Agent Coulson and numerous others return from the dead — is Kree.
TVGuide.com has learned that this morsel will be revealed on the December 2nd episode, “…Ye Who Enter Here.” Bell tells the website:
“Our people [S.H.I.E.L.D.] don’t know anything about the Kree or that there’s a planet full of them. What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?”

With this discovery, viewers will also find out what it is that Skye (Chloe Bennet) and Raina (Ruth Negga) have in common, as both of them seem immune to the side effects of the Kree blood and the Obelisk, respectively. “Some of our überfans think the two of them are aliens,” Bell added. “Or maybe they’re something else — something different and special. It’s all leading to a reveal that’s mother-effing crazy.”
