First Official Trailer For Ridley Scott’s THE MARTIAN; "In Your Face Neil Armstrong!"

20th Century Fox has released the first official trailer for The Martian. In which we see Matt Damon use his wits and know how to survive the isolation of Mars’ vast desert land and waiting for his crew to come bring him home!

During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring “the Martian” home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible rescue mission. As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to root for Watney’s safe return.

Based on a best-selling novel, and helmed by master director Ridley Scott, THE MARTIAN features a star studded cast that includes Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sebastian Stan, Sean Bean and Donald Glover.

Donald Glover Would Be "Honoured" To Play MILES MORALES

Donald Glover has been a fan-favourite choice to play Spider-Man for years now, with even The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield even backing him to one day take over the role. While there’s every chance that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will turn to him to play Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War and the 2017 reboot, a lot of fans are rooting for him to take on the role of Miles Morales (despite being years too old). He does voice the character on TV though.

When Yahoo! Movies caught up with the Community star, they asked him to weigh in on whether or not he’s still interested in playing Spider-Man. “Of course, I would always be honored to play Spider-Man,” he said. “But I just want the Spider-Man movie to be dope, that’s all I want.” As for his intentions to campaing for the role again, he added: “I’m leaving it to them. Campaigning’s part of life, but for me, I’ve got a lot of stuff that I’m really excited about, and dropping it all… of course it’d be an honor. But it’s fine, if it comes, if not.”
